Christmas Presents

Wow! This Christmas has been great. I had a great Christmas Eve with my family and extended family. It was fun performing in our annual Christmas Eve program. Then I couldn't go to sleep that night because I was so excited for Christmas Day! None of my brothers or sisters could go to sleep either! Morning came and at 7:00 am we opended presents. Christmas is just around the corner. My house is decorated in with the yearly Christmas decorations. I love Christmas. The smells, the food, and the feeling of Christmas are things that I look forward to every year. Merry Christmas.

Countdown to Christmas

Only 23 more days until Christmas! I can't wait! I also am anticipating NO SCHOOL (Christmas Break in 2 weeks!) If only I can last that long!

The Goblet of Fire

I have just finished Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It was very good and I spent almost all of today finishing it! Now I will read the 5th book. I am getting closer to the end of the series, and I can't wait to finish them to see what happens to everyone! I have made a goal to not watch the movie before I finish the book! So, I have seen the movies up to number 3, and will watch the 4th movie soon! I am a little behind everyone else, but oh well!

My Pink Ballet Slippers

I think ballet is such a beautiful art. I have not been dancing very long, but since I have started, I have fallen in love with it! The shoes, the costumes, the hair, I just love it all. I have been having some trouble with getting my posture right, and getting my arms and feet doing two completely different things at the same time. Even though it is a lot of work, I think it is worth it. In ballet, I love the costumes and accessories that dancers can wear. For Christmas I am asking for a long-sleeved leotard and stirrup leg warmers (these are the leg warmers that go over the ballet slipper and hook under neath in the arch). I am so excited to wear them. I love pointe shoes also, and hope I can get better fast, so I can wear the beautiful pointe shoes soon. But for now, I will be satisfied with my pink ballet slippers.

Birthday Cupcakes

My sister is having her birthday party tonight, and I made the cupcakes for it. I LOVE making cupcakes and decorating them! Here is my work (that took me forever!) :

The Hunger Games Movie

I have heard there is going to be a Hunger Games movie! I am super excited, and hope I will be able to see it!! I also want the cast to be great..... I mean what is the point of the movie, if the cast is bad?? I have put together some of the people I would choose. Here is my dream cast of the movie:

Audrey Hepburn

 I have been doing a project on Audrey Hepburn for English, and have found out many new facts about her.

Audrey endured the Nazi occupation in Holland during World War II.

Audrey studied ballet when she was young.

Audrey served as the goodwill ambassador for UNICEF. She helped many children around the world who were in poverty.

Audrey is a fashion icon around the world.

These are just a few things I learned while doing this very long project, that I am still not done with!!

 I have seen some of Audrey Hepburn's films and these are a couple I like. "Wait Until Dark," is a movie where Audrey stars as the blind woman, Suzy Hendrix. I also like "Charade."

Audrey's career was successful and many of her films are now considered to be classics.

I have been reading the Harry Potter series recently. I have to admit......I have never read a Harry Potter book! Then I read the first one a couple of weeks ago, and now I am onto the 2nd book. I actually like them, and want to keep reading to answer all the questions I have about who people are and their pasts. Ra, Ra, Gryffindor!

Ouch!!

Yesterday I touched a stove, and yes it was still hot!

I was just going to touch it to see if it was hot, expecting it not to be, and was burned!

Ouch!!!

 If you look closely, you can see the spiral shape of the stove burned into my hand!
